About NTEEC

Founded in 1999, Students for a Sustainable Campus (SSC) formed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability at the University of North Texas. In 2008, students joined forces to create the North Texas Energy & Environment Club (NTEEC) to broaden the scope of SSC and promote efforts to encompass North Texas regional businesses, governments, and non-profit groups.

On campus, we host events and activities to increase university education on current energy and environmental issues. In the North Texas region, we act to increase community education by providing a network of knowledge and market enrichment in climate change, energy development, and natural resource sustainability.
